Safflower oil is extracted from the seeds of the safflower, from which the colours yellow and vermilion are also extracted. The safflower plays an important role in countries with a dry climate as its roots penetrate 2 metres into the soil, breaking it up and making it accessible to other seeds.

Safflower seeds contain approximately 40% oil. They are similar in shape to sunflower seeds but almost white in colour. Our safflower oil has a unique, mild taste.

Gourmet Tip

Safflower oil is an ideal accompaniment to green salads, bean shoots, and raw vegetables. Because of its delicate flavour , it greatly enhances the taste of your dishes.
