Gourmet Tip

Walnut oil is particularly enjoyable with cold dishes. In particular, lamb’s lettuce is transformed into a true delicacy with walnut oil. Warm dishes, e.g. fish or root vegetables can be lifted by adding a dash of walnut oil before serving.

Health Tip

Walnut oil is a veritable tonic because it strengthens mental and physical ability. Similar to safflower oil, it has the highest proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids, contains plentiful vitamin E, lecithin, linoleic acid and the provitamins A and D.

Consume quickly

Walnut oil is delicate because of its high level of essential linoleic acid, and should be consumed within several weeks of the bottle being opened.
